Polish Green Network and the Life PlanUp project team is pleased to invite you to a two-day workshop that will gather experts and stakeholders from Eastern EU countries with an interest in climate change mitigation and decarbonisation of the transport, agriculture and buildings sectors. The workshop will furthermore have a strong focus on the governance of climate policies at different levels - EU, national and local. Together, the experts will discuss the potentials and pitfalls of good practices identified under this project, including the potential for emission reductions, the barriers for implementation, what’s needed, etc.

The outcomes of the discussions are expected to feed into the ongoing process on the National Energy and Climate Plans (NECPs), which are currently being developed and revised by the Member States.

The event will gather experts in different areas of work, such as decarbonisation of transport, buildings governance, sustainable agriculture, etc. The event is open to civil society groups, NGOs, policy-makers, business representatives and representatives from municipalities and regions.

We look forward to welcoming you to this workshop!
